Winter Restriction

Loch A Chroisg, Achnasheen, Scotland.

An old wire net fence normally a fairly unattractive man-made feature in a landscape is transformed by an inch or so of hoar frost especially at sunset where the low amber light turns anything pale in colour to burnished gold. The cold light of a clear sky provided the reflective blue colour contrast with the red light on a distant peak providing a splash of warmth.

wonderful winter shot Ian! The ice does turn the wire fence into an art sculpture!
