Sunrise Conic Hill

Conic Hill, Balmaha, Scotland.

I set off to climb Conic Hill about half an hour before there was the slightest trace of light in the sky and as I neared the summit I could see sunrise was going to be quite a magical affair. The sky turned crimson and threw an eerie red light over Loch lomond and the surrounding hills markedly affecting the dead bracken which glowed with unrestrained brilliance. The complementary greens of grass topped hill made a perfect foil for the vivid red bracken.

Another Wow! Wish my meager stock holdings would allow a visit to one of your classes. Maybe if it will only get better. Thanks for all the great image this year Ian.
