Inverpolly Plateau

Stac Pollaidh, Inverpolly, Scotland.

It was one of those rare breathtaking sharply lit autumnal mornings and I was fortunate enough to find myself on the summit of Stac Pollaidh gazing out toward the fluted bulk of Cul Mor. The autumn golds and russet browns with the merest hint of summit snow looked sensational against a rich blue sky dappled with cloud.
