It was a great day for taking close-ups of flowers. I missed my macro lens and a tripod but they were just too heavy to include in our kit for Europe. I used my "Holiday Lens" at its telephoto end instead (18 - 200 mm zoom), sometimes supported by a monopod. I found it difficult to focus accurately with my D70s. My new D90 would have been much easier to focus accurately. Nevertheless I am happy with these images.
