Midori - a Blue Crown Conure

Hi, I'm Midori, a Blue Crown Conure (Aratinga acuticaudata). I was born on 7/27/2007, went home with mommy and daddy on 10/26/2007. My cousin “Paulie” made a big name for himself, but I’m a superstar according to mommy and daddy. They took a lot of photos of me and I believe they’ll post more later.

Thanksgiving 2007, a very warm day, daddy took me out to the backyard. First time in my life to be in the "outback", took a while for me to step on the tree, not as bad as it looks and mommy was right next to me anyway. I think I can be a "wild" bird one day.

Daddy and Mommy got me a little boy blue crowned conure - Yo Yo. It did not take long for us to become very good friends.
