Traveling inland to Yosemite, nature presents us with California’s other colors: the brown, green and yellow mountain hills, orchards of many different fruits, and the flat farmlands, so different from the ocean blue of the coastline.

Wine country is at its best in October, with vivid colors of green and red, and the fresh smell of tasty grapes. The mountain view is vast, huge, enormous, and widespread. In one word: Splendid.

The remarkable mountain landscape, with its changes of elevations and hairpin turns, is charmingly decorated by the Merced River, Lake McClure and Don Pedro Lake. The gold mining town of Coulterville, with its historical museum, still stands to tell its interesting stories about the past. Close to San Francisco, a tremendous scale of Wind Power catched my eyes...

In some areas, there are yellow hills with beautiful patterns on the left, and green and red grape orchards on the right. Some places are like traveling in the desert, where the very beautiful yellow hills provide the dominant color, attractive and inviting. Too bad, no stops to take photos.
