This is important to the birders in the group: This guy flew by over the canal and I about crapped my pants. It looked all dark (minus the expected wing patches) and the sun had not made it up over the trees yet so I couldn't see the face well. Then I found it on the canal facing away from me, and I started feeling pretty good about a wild Muscovy Duck. Then it turned around and oh great look at all those white feathers and red warts. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
