At one stage, yesterday, I tried to take the shot that's ended up below all this text:
handheld, for one-third of a second, at arm's length. Umm.
(It was never going to happen, was it?)

However, there was something about the result that I really liked...
-- although I've yet to decide exactly what that "thing" is... --

as I think it is!

All I've done to the original, by the way, is to play around
with levels and saturation, and add a bit of grain.....
