Just about managing... -- but struggling at the moment to take a picture a day.
As some of you will know, I haven't been well, recently; and will soon be having an operation on my neck.
Therefore, although I'll continue to post pictures, for the next few months I won't be posting as many comments as I have in the past....

No statistics, this time!
Just to say that I'm still seeing great value in trying to take/post at least one picture every day.
Still learning more about photography, my camera, selection of lenses, Photoshop.
Still revelling in constructive comments. Still wanting a digital SLR...!

Three months, 96 PaDs, and 2,625 pictures later, and I've managed to take a picture most days: only 'cheating' when ill, or I've stupidly forgotten
to take a camera with me on my travels! I've also learned a lot more about photography in this time (although I've still got a long way to go...);
and made a lot of good PBase friends! So thank you to all those who have commented and given advice so freely and generously!
Have a very good Christmas, and may the New Year bring you everything you would wish of it!

Well... -- in the short time (44 days) since I joined PBase, I've taken an awful lot of pictures (1,170, to be exact...);
and, as it's three years to the day since I started using my Coolpix 5700, and it's my mum's 75th birthday, and the first day of autumn, etc.,
why the heck not celebrate (!?) by (masochistically) starting a Photo a Day gallery... (especially as I've already managed to take photos five days in a row...!):
in the hope that such a challenge will concentrate the mind a little, and ensure that I finally remember to take one of my cameras with me everywhere I go...!?!

I'm still young
But I know my days are numbered
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and so on
But a time will come when these numbers have all ended
And all I've ever seen will be forgotten

A fine collection of images indeed, this is a good place to stop by for anyone thinking of starting a PaD gallery. Plenty of variety and plenty of your personality in these shots, nicely done Stephen.
