Fovant is a very rural community: and one that is really quite dependent on agriculture (and much of that arable...) for its well-being and economic viability... --
and it's never quite as evident as at this time of year: when, suddenly, crops disappear, and huge swathes of the landscape suddenly turn brown
in preparation for the following growing season....
