One that countermands
6 April 2013 (530)

Stratford-upon-Avon view map

Narrow Lane is its name;
not its description...!

It was a sunny (but chilly) day:
so we pootled around Old Town;
and down by the river.

Excellent perspective. It is as standing at the corner and looking up the street. Like the light and shadow very much too! V

Such passages and alleys could be countermanded quite readily. A well-named road here.

A very apt sign.

Great find and scene with wonderful light and shadows.

Good observation. Trouble with signs like this is that it is too late to turn your coach by the time you get there!

Excellent. This image gives you the feeling of standing right there. ~V~

Must be a warning to those using SAT NAV!
Well seen and composed in B&W. V

I wanted to come here last month but had not the time and only went up to Oxford.V.

An excellent black and white of this scene! \/

I love that sign! Very nice b/w... When the Wife and I visited GB a few years back, I was both surprised and delighted at how the roads would bottle-neck in town like this... I loved every bit of it!

Sounds as if there could be a pub there!

Narrow coach, no lanes. Oh wait, it is the other way around! Either way, this is a very cool shot. V
