Adirondacks January 2002

Exellent skiing on a 3 day trip to The High Peaks, January 15-17, 2002. On the first two days I took an ADK Backcountry Skiing class. The highlight of the class was a ski to and from Avalanche Lake. That downhill ski was one of the best ever on an NNN-BC setup. Perfect snow on a Perfect trail! On the third day, unbelievably perfect weather prompted a trip to The McIntyre Range. Nice!

I did that ski in once with my kids..oh it was the best...my boys were 12 & 13 and now are 21 & 22....oh I ve hiked it may times..Thaks Jay
