The world-renowned Butchart Gardens are located on Vancouver Island which is separated from B.C. mainland by Georgia Strait. They are 100 years old and well worth a visit by the ferry.

Nice to see what this looks like with flowers. We visited on a freezing cold day in February. It was still pretty, just no flowers. Voted.
