This weekend there were two new demonstrations in the park - a fringe theater group playing a political satire game called American Oligopoly and a Chinese spiritual group known as the Falun Gong. I will be posting photos of these demonstrations in my Washington Square Park gallery.

The Falun Gong demonstration had two aspects. It was a protest against the Chinese government for torturing and persecuting their members in China - and an instructional appeal to try their meditation philosophy and techniques.
