Allamanda cathartica, Member of the Dogbane Family

Lyndhurst Street near Louden Ave - Dunedin, Florida

Can anyone help me out with the name of this flower?
Thought this was a Plumeria frangipani, but discovered that it is a mature Allamanda cathartica plant.

Also, I forgot to mention this plant is a small shrub form 2-3 feet high. Many of the plumerias are tree form...

Coleen, I think you may be correct, but the flower structure on the mystery plant appears to be more like a squash type blossom, a cup shape with rounded petals. Whereas the plumeria appears to be more star shaped. Seehttp://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/101476/

Thank you for your response. Best regards, Hubert

I am fairly certain that it is a plumeria.
