An isolated hill formed during the Saalien ice age, around 150,000 years ago. The ice thrusted periglacial river sands from a previous ice age up. The hill is only 22 meters, or about 15 meters above the surrounding plain. More info in Dutch: http://www.geosites.nl/publicaties/244
