Tail end of a race

The last three competitors approaching Kingston bridge followed by a flotilla of umpire’s launches. I took the picture for its visual appeal rather than for what it shows about rowing. The image as edited is what I ‘remember’ seeing though I suspect the unromantic camera would have recorded something like the unedited image even if my settings had been optimal! What I did was to increase the colour saturation, warm and brighten the section of the image between the bridge and the far shoreline. In the water area I reduced colour saturation and increased contrast. This could be OTT!
