About 20Km from Rawalakot and at 1981m above sea-level is Banjosa. A very attractive site full of scenic beauty which also houses a small artificial lake with boating facilities. Accomodation is available through tourism authorities. Find it on Google Earth (you must have Google Earth installed)

Banjosa have beautiful landscape. Banjosa lake is a blend of natural and artificial scene. I have seen it an attractive place but i am sorry to say that there is no any security and rescue system. One should enjoy the banjosa at his own risk. At least there should be Tourism Office to look after the area. The water of lake Banjosa is very polluted. Even then we along with my wife and son enjoyed a lot.
