Bagh

Bagh was part of the Poonch province in the Dogra days. After 1947 it became a sub-division (Thesil) of the Poonch district only to become a district in its own right in 1988. Linked to Muzaffarabad by two roads, one via Sudhan Gali (80Km) and the other through Kohala (97Km). It is situated 46Km from Rawalakot. Bagh is well known for its confectionery and bakery products. I wish that the leadership of Kashmir should establish lift system from Bagh to Ganga Choti & Nanaga Peer & consider this whole area as a Kashmir National Park or Ganga Choti Nanag Peer National Park & request the tourist to visit the area. Bagh will always be a Bagh,unfortunatly ,our political leadership have done nothing to improve the city are other tourist areas of Bagh ,except filling up their own family accounts in back. The beautiful Ganga Choti & Nanga Peer Belt could be converted to a green belt ad national Park of Bagh District , a lift could be installed in Bagh to Gunga Choti & Nanaga Peer. Thank you all ,writing about Bagh but we also must remember great people of Bagh ,who fought aginst Dogra Mahraja, The Great Molana Abdullah Kaffal Garvi Sheer -E-Poonch, who was the first leader ,who challenged Maraja from Bagh. He basically ,taught the people of Bagh that no one can take their liberty. He took the people to Poonch City in protest against the crulity of Mahraja, his fallowers, Peer Ali Asgar Shah of Sari Peeran , Syed Hussan Shah Gardezi, Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan, Sardar Muhammad Hussain of Dahre, The great war of Naga Peer ,where Dogras were defeated,Subidar Ali Akbar Khan Almahroof Pool Saib,& many others who guided Bagh to freedom& from long time the Bagh people were called Baghi, a public of revultion. The Beauty of Bagh comes with these great people too. I love the city of Bagh, I started my political life from Bagh. I met with the nice people like Majer Ayob khan Ex MLA. Raja Sabeel Khan, Syed Hussen Shah Gardezi, Sardar Anwar of Topi, Subidar Aslam Khan of Sudden Gali.As a student leader, I really enjoed & graduated from Bagh college & later went to Punjab University to complete my law education. I am still leaderning about the World, & working in the field of human rights on Kashmir. But ,I still miss my walk in the evening towards college area with my friends, a walk on moon light, and jokes with my class fellows. please add janat nazir chittra vally. On the top of this place we can see Murree, Muzaaffarabad, Rawalakot, Kotli and Dist Bagh as well. There is no place in the South Asia like Chittra from who we can view five districts of Azad Kashmir and Murree District Rawalpindi.

To Khalid Nazir Mughal: If I am not mistaken, you must be the son of Dr. Nazir of Birpani. Well, now you are wondering who I am... right?????? it is a small world, 5 to 10 years ago no one could have thought of intenet access in villages of AJK. Man has been to the moon and back yet we are now getting basic internet in some areas. We have a long way to go and the way things are I am sure we will all be dead by the time those remote areas of AJK are fully connected to the rest of the world via internet. This is what happens when unqualified/corrupt leaders are elected to lead a nation. It has taken over 60 years to get here and perhaps it will take another 60 or 100 to get where the rest of the world is today.. Sad but true.

its a nice work but we compare real beauty of dist. bagh then lasdana,ganaga chotti,hajipeer,sudden gali and sharoo tara is more beautiful then the other parts of bagh.hanif bahi keep it up and take some pictures of those areas to.but in real my mother land is full of natural beauty.i didn't see it last two years.i miss my mother land to much.
