Alice the Leopard

In this image Alice has killed a juvenile antelope and is consuming it on the ground, just after sunset. Usually, the first thing a leopard does with a kill is to haul it up a tree, but she has not done this, and may no longer be able to do so. She is snarling viciously at her own yearling offspring, who tried to share the kill. Her top canine teeth are missing, and the bottom canine teeth are both broken.

Wow. Your angle was much better than I got :( and you got it spot on with timing and exposure. A keeper. Best. J

I can see that the teeth are missing, however she does look fierce. Great shot, Hal.

Wow, Hal, this is a terrific shot! The lighting on her head and face is superb.
I'm glad to know that even with her challenges, she is still able to hunt, kill, survive.
