He's back

My tormentor from last spring has returned. He took a few taps at the metal fireplace insert chimney this AM. I am sure he will work up to his full jackhammer imitation as dawn gets earlier. Apparently, he has not heard of the recently arrived Cooper's Hawk that has cut down the bird population, or he is too big for a Cooper's Hawk. At least it is a sign of spring.

Clear, sharp and beautiful! He may be your pest, but he sure is handsome.
Wonderful pose and beautiful bokeh. ~
