The Mount Tom Escarpment

Mount Tom and Mount Holyoke are peculiar glacieral ridges that dominate the otherwise flat and broad "Pioneer Valley" region of the Connecticut River in Massachusetts. The Mt. Tom ridge now carries an array of communication towers and sundry other towers. These are views of the Mt. Tom Escarpment as seen from Easthampton, where the rugged ridges of glacial debri are quite evident.
