The perfect walkaround or second family camera system. The D50 is a Nikon classic...not only simple and easy to use, but incredibly good sensor and a motor drive that allows using ALL Nikon automatic focus lenses, not just the newer and more expensive ones with motor drive.

The Sigma 18-200mm lens is one of the best ever made at this focal length....it is actually sharper at 200mm than Nikon's own 18-200mm lens (which cost three times as much). This all-in-one lens and both it and the camera's small size make this an easy camera to always have with you, which is how I have used it. Or it can serve as an easy to use grab and shoot camera for family pictures...with much better quality than the usual point-and-shoot.
