Nikon D1X Initial Photos Using NX2 Software

Purchased a really good value D1X body for under $200. Had a hunch after doing some print testing of photos shot and published by Andreas in various forums that with current Nikon software it could function kind of as a "poor man's D3" with its large photostites.

Photos were shot as NEFs, imported into NX2, had 10-5-0 edge sharpening applied, and in the case of iso1600 shots, 15-7 noise reduction as well. They were then saved and exported as master TIFFs (4016 x 2616 if full size,) and then converted from adobe to sRGB JPEGs with conversion sharpening applied.
