Hawley E. Bennett, 29, of Temecula, rides Livingstone on the cross country course during competition Saturday at Galway Downs World Cup Qualifier and International Horse Trials in Temecula. There are 308 riders from six countries competing in the event which concludes Sunday. Bennett, who rides for Canada's equestrian team is from Ft Langley, B.C., Canada. Bennett was in sixth place after Saturday's cross country event. She relocated to Temecula two years ago where she trains at the Kingsway Farms stable. Finals begin Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. The event is open to the public.
