It’s official now!
The news is not good. More than half of the dogs living in The Netherlands is too fat.
Same story with cats and many other pets.
And the sausage shape problem is growing. It’s in the latest issue of the Dutch 'OD Magazine'
(that's a periodical with a funny name, for vets and pet owners).
Dogs run into many problems when they grow too heavy. Especially with their heart, lungs and liver,
their joints and ligaments and their skin and fur. The may get diabetes. They get tired quicker
and they live shorter lives.
The cure: a diet, a change of dogfood, no more unhealthy snacks, and more walking, playing and running.
So that’s where ARS comes in. We have a big job to do, friends!
