I love running and chasing and hunting and digging and sniffing.
This is a good time of the year for all of that. We have big smells and lots of mice and rabbits.
My human doesn’t want me to go out on my own too far, I know that,
but the temptations are hard to resist sometimes. My human can’t smell what I smell.
He can’t see what I see. He’s much too slow to chase a rabbit. He can’t dig for a mouse.
He’s helpless, more or less. So we’ll have to compromise.
Sometimes he calls out to me. I hear him. I look at him. He looks back at me.
He calls again. There’s a frozen moment. But then I have to follow my passion anyway
and I break away. I know that makes him angry sometimes.
But I have to do what I have to do. And then I’ll make up with him later.
It’s what dogs and humans are about. Am I wrong?
Have a super Tuesday everybody,
-Anna
