Het fraai gerestaureerder voormalige raadhuis van Vlieland in de Dorpsstraat dateert uit 1855,
hoewel een gevelsteen het jaar 1598 vermeldt (maar deze steen is afkomstig uit een eerder
raadhuis dat werd afgebroken). Het nieuwe gemeentehuis van Vlieland staat recht tegenover het oude raadhuis.

The historic town hall of Vlieland island in the 'Dorpsstraat' was built in 1855
(a tablet on the facade mentions the year 1598 but this tablet belonged to an earlier building
that was replaced). Vlieland island's new town hall is located across the street.
