Joop's Dog Log - Monday Dec 06

Leaves came loose.
Makes me a little sad and sentimental. It happens every year.
Why do they all have to fall when they must grow back next Spring anyway?
Why do dogs have to grow old and die and be replaced by new puppies?
Why do humans celebrate Christmas every year like it`s the first time?
Why is it that every December they look forward to start their year all over again
from the beginning? What`s the use of it all?
I should understand by now, I`m a senior dog. But it beats me. I cannot find sense in it.
My human has been going to the garage and the attic to look for his Christmas lights today.
He found them. But somehow this year his heart doesn`t seem to be in it. I feel the same.
We need Rudolph!
We`re going to have to wait and see if the Christmas spirit will find us.
And if not, hey, we still got each other...

Anyone got a cookie?

I was in the Netherlands last week Joop, and was amazed at the number of trees you had that still had some leaves on them!

All good questions Joop. No good answers though, I'm afraid.

Cool shot, love the autumn colours and the dog really stands out against them!
