Joop's Dog Log - Tuesday October 05

I`m talking to you once again as JK`s running mate.
I`m concerned. Sure, it`s going well for us. JK is gaining on JWB in the polls.
But it`s this thing Donald Rumsfeld said, JWB`s Defense Secretary.
He said: "I know of no strong, hard evidence linking Saddam Hussein`s Iraq and al Qaeda".
Do you get what this means..?
After the weapons of mass destruction this link was the second most important reason
for JWB`s war against Iraq.
There were no weapons of mass destruction.
And now they admit there was no link.
This is serious stuff. It means that they knew.
Of course Rumsfeld was punished and forced to make a statement saying "he was misunderstood".
Yeah, right...

OK. Wrong was done. Make it right. Vote John Kerry next month.
If you do, you can have one of my cookies any time

Great close-up portrait! 2 things should be clear by now:
1) Bushwhacker invaded Iraq to settle a family feud (or, out-do his daddy)
2) Oil
That`s All Folks!!! 200 billion $$$ and growing, dead people everywhere, world opinion in the toilet... hey "it`s hard work..." being a faux leader. Watch Edwards route the Boogyman tonight!

You looks good Joop - as always. But isn`t it to heavy stuff to think in politics as a dog? Keep your cookie - enjoy it and trust the intelligence of the humans - although it`s hard to do ... I know ... :) Hardy & the K-pack

Hello Joop, my little friend! How are you doing? First of all let me tell you that I am not visiting your Fotolog everyday because I am really busy in my daily activities but you are always on my mind! Great picture! Take care, Elaine

Preaching to the choir, I fear, Joop. Or at least I`d be surprised that anyone with the class to appreciate yr finer points couldn`t by now have made up his/her mind. Personally, I`m holding out a lot of hope for the kids. Major movements afoot in this country to get the kids out to vote, a demographic group that hasn`t been touched thus far by the polsters. Almost every poll to date has been of a population that voted in the last election and that has a regular telephone number. A lot of the twenty something generation rely on their cell phones. So I`m really hoping their just polling the wrong people! Keep the faith, Joop. We WILL win@@

Too bad I don`t vote, otherwise I surely would get the 2 cookies you are offering...
All we have to do is wait and see what the Americans want for their future... they know, they were warned, and now it is in their hand to choose next President... or do you think they are that stupid? Oliver

Hey Joop! If I could vote I would vote Oprah Winfrey fro president...the best US could have is a female, strong, black president...I think Mr Michael moore has said something about that as well. What do you think? And this link about the pentagon is really important!! I found it last week on the net and Joop i don`t know what to say...

Yes, I watched the debates also, and I thought Kerry handled himself (and the Bush camp) VERY well. Will the Americans vote with their heads or their hearts? My hopes are on Kerry. Pray for peace. - Papabear

Hello again many hours later....just saw the "Anke late night show" on tv where she presented two dolls ( kind and size of Barbie )Rumsfield and GWB telling just a.m. topic and she made a certain remark regarding where Mr. R. would fit in at Mr. GWB best......it is hard after all that horror to hear them "confess" what we all knew before....
Ok, this day is nearly done and my blue little toe seems to do better now, hopefully not broken, couldn`t wear a shoe since yesterday when I ran against one iron bar of a little bench before my tennis match.
Looking at Joop again I can only repeat: this is my favourite portrait....just perfect for a poster!Good night and sweet dreams!D.

If you feel rotten about the whole thing...think how we Americans feel, knowing that we are under an administration that lies and sends soldiers unnecessairly to war and to death. It is a horror...but for me right now the horror is the number of Americans who support this administration. I don`t know how to even begin to talk to a bush supporter, I don`t know what they are responding to in this man of low intelligence and sensibility except his machismo...his "my way or the highway", "bring `em on" sort of mentality. And how can you argue with someone who needs that kind of person to protect their fragile sense of self in the world. Yes, the world has changed after 9/11, but Kerry is right, we do need to be smarter in fighting the terrorists...and we need you guys over there, just like you need us. I am fearful about the outcome of this election, another four years and he could create more chaos and even a bigger mess in the world.
I almost forgot about that beautiful portrait of you in the midst of all my rantings. You sure are a beauty and I thank you for allowing us this forum to express our political views. When this whole election cycle started, some on f/l accused us of being bush-bashers...like we should feel guilty about criticizing this man who has turned the world upside down and created a mess in one country and let two others move closer to nuclear weapons. No, my friends, I will bash bush, and I will do it as long as it takes to see him soundly defeated so he cannot harm us or anyone else in the world again. I welcome your response to anything I say about the men...I will not participate in ad hominum arguments with YOU, I simply want you to understand why we have such deep objections to bush and his policies.

This entire election is scary Joop. The way of our World and when person`s get power ....in all of history....there is ego that creates lies. Joop, we each have to come from our truth and hearts and try to see through all of the politics. We have to heal as a Nation, as a World, as a People. It must start with one person but I hate when countries are judged on their leaders or ideas of what this country is like or that. Joop, keep the faith and hope people will vote with their brains, their heart and with truth . Bulldogs just looking for some honest heart to heart folks and they are all over the World...especially on fotolog.

Haven't see you in awhile Joop, seems like we are posting at different times. Either way, Great SP hehe

Joop, you're sounding like Michael Moore (albeit a bit less hairy), he's now encouraging people to loan out and copy his DVD so that more people can see it, to try to help swing the vote. It's going to be very interesting to watch as someone in another country.

You forgot to mention the other back-up (also belated) reason: "To free the Iraqi people." I'm not sure what's left.
4 weeks. You don't have to give me cookie for this one... Cross your paws and hope.
