This is the club house of the sailing team in my town, on Lake Paterswolde.
It's an old club. Through the years some of its humans have competed in the Olympics.

We've had pretty bad weather last week, and a Summer storm, but today is sunny.
So my human chose the lake for our walk. And we always seem to come back to this building.
My human likes this place. And I like the smells around here. There's a kitchen in the back
where they deep-fry bitterballen, kroketten, patat, fricadellen and worst (different kinds
of croquettes, fries, sausages and weenies).
I can smell that stuff a mile away across the water!

Today is another Euro 2000 soccer game. The Dutch play against Sweden.
It's a knock out game: the loser goes home.
Last night the French were knocked out by the Greeks.
So let's all keep our paws crossed for the Dutch,
to keep the humans around here happy.
