Joop's Dog Log - Wednesday June 02

This is a Dutch farm I just visited.
It produces good clean foodstuff grown on Groningen clay grounds:
potatoes, sugar beets, corn and grain. Ingredients for what humans and dogs should eat.
But more and more humans and dogs eat artificial food. Or unhealthy food. Or both.
They get fat. They get sick. They look bad. Too much grease, too much sugar.
They go to the Golden Arches. They order a burger. Fries. A shake.
They don`t care what they put in their mouths.
Food specialists say they are shocked by poll results proving that one out of every three
Americans is too big. In The Netherlands one-fourth of all humans is too big.
Some specialists are too big themselves.
Same story with dogs: many of us get unhealthy food and too much of it.
Not me. If I want unhealthy food I have to steal it. Just had my check up.
My weight is good. My heart is good. My blood is good.
My human sais: you are what you eat.
That makes me a cookie!

I agree, Joop! There is too much bad food around. It`s better to be fit and healthy than fat and unhealthy. (Not that I`m against fat people, and not ALL are unhealthy.) I love good organic, farm-grown foods. Yummy! Groeten van Seattle!

And tell me, dear boy, are you still eating those green beans? The Woo is now on a cherry kick. I think she loves fruit as much as she does cookies. Well, almost. And the cherries are ripe hereabouts. Cherry stands on every corner. And sweet? Oh my! Fruits and veggies are good for all of us!

Hey partners...we were first with this "food-topic", how could you know? Again this telepatic Dutch/German coincidence! THANK you for this statement!!! Bosslady always says that she will be the last German who never ate in a fastfood restaurant..zombie from another world? Our little boss lived for 1 year in Idaho and worked in a MD.drive-in-...he came back in triple-version and was cured.......Mainly young Germans are too fat too but they keep on eating those dead food, bread as white as a wall, softdrinks made of sugar and water, hate vegetable, salads, don`t know how to make a vinaigrette....THANKS!

This time of year Chloe Bear likes to eat grass. They say it is good for humans too. There are even special juicers to make grass juice.

Having to steal unhealthy food keeps us agile, right, Joop?! I think I might be a cookie, too.
