Joop's Dog Log - Sunday Apr 18

I`m rather picky when it comes to making friends with other animals.
Horses I like, never met a bad horse in my life.
But I`m not a cowdog. Although they sometimes look at me like I`m one of them.
Tells you how smart they are. Not! What does a cow want out of life, really?
The same goes for most animals I`ve seen in the zoo.
Cats I can`t stand. I`ve never liked a cat. Never will.
But I have this secret passion that I haven`t told you about before.
A passion for sheep.
They look like big dogs. I even like their smell.
Yesterday I met this nice sheep when I was hiking with my humans.
It was love on first sight!

Wow Joop! I`ve never seen a sheep like this in my life, what an amazing sheep! Is this a sheep they use for wool?

How sweet! I just ADORE this photo of you, Joop! Sheep are really cool, indeed. On my travels around Arizona, I saw a coyote, lizards, sheep, cows, lots of horses, a roadrunner, eagles, cats, and a ferret! I think there was more, but I`m too tired to remember at the moment...

Erm, I am one of the first to cheer on inter-racial relationships or ones between members of different cultures or religions. Love is love and it can override some of the most difficult problems. So I guess it doesn`t matter if you`ve a thing for sheep, big guy. Follow your heart, Joop! And all those problems, well, I`m sure you two can resolve them. Yr gonna have to get a bigger bed tho, that`s all there is to it.

...and then you kissed her..??? Hm, good morning partner...we are really puzzled: your countryside seems to be clone to Güster or vice versa..but his sheep look like a bear in disguise..what have they done to his head and legs??? Wearing dandy shoes and no curls on the head?? Our sheep are different, they do smell fantastic, but we never tried to kiss them ..always electric fences between us! We wished you could mail us the scent of this sheep to check if it real and no fake..imagine what will happen if you had fallen in love with a bear.....pats from B&P

"Yes, Joop: fame isn´t at all important when you can scent good friends (like you did in this picture) and when your loving non-famous human takes good care of you :)
Have a look at our lake pictures! I explained something curious about Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas! :)" Flô

Hi, that was really a bad situation, it was very hot and the dogs from the world that comes to Rio to the Expo was not abituated with our weather, 3 died and a lot of others were bad, the vets used a lot of medicines. The dogs of our shelter went to the expo too but they stayed outside with activists to show people that breed animals are abandoned too not only mates. A lot was adopted. Tomorrow I will put in Flog the photos of us outside doing our work >:) Thanks

Haaa haaaa haaaaa. That sheep is soooo big and looks like it can use a shearing. I think it is so cool you like horses and sheep...but I do think, Joop, that if you were introduced to the right cat, you might at least entertain the notion of a pleasant exchange. Some cats are very nice.

Joop, I like sheep too! They make nice fleece to spin into yarn! Nice to see you making friends. Although there are some lovely cats out there!

Very nice picture. What a huge sheep!

Got to be careful round this neck of the woods where sheep are concerned.
Farmers tend to be a bit quick off the mark with their shotguns!
But I agrre, they are quite cute - especially the babies.
I'm the pick-of-the-day today, more exposure is good for us four-legged friends. Max
