We went with friends about an hour out of Riyadh to the camel souk. It was fantastic -- the real thing -- with Bedouins buying and selling camels and camels basically everywhere. I don’t think they get many tourists there, but they were all incredibly friendly and hospitable, and some didn’t even mind their picture being taken. The camels didn’t mind being photographed at all. I'm afraid I took a lot of camel pictures, but I'll try to limit this sub-gallery to a reasonable size ;-). I did get some people pics, too -- it was so nice not to have to worry about whether or not I could take pictures -- everybody seemed fine with it at the souk.
