Our last destination in Asir Province was this bazaar in a town whose name I never got. It took a very long time to get there after rushing through the palace/museum complex, having to descend an incredibly steep mountain and then travel for an hour or more through the valley below. The bazaar was interesting and worth visiting, but because we were running so late, it meant going back up another mountain road (a truck route at that) at night in an attempt to catch our various flights back to Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. We made it to the airport in Abha with just minutes to spare, after the most frightening ride of the entire tour (think passing big trucks on those hairpin curves and in tunnels, in the dark).
