Decorating Capitol Hill

The blooming cherry trees aren’t just at the Tidal Basin and large parks, they’re also all over our neighborhood. They reached peak bloom this week due to the abnormally warm weather we recently had, which has now gone back to freezing.

A beautiful tree, with its branches and flowers seem to be embracing the lamp post. ~VVVV~

I'm envious. What a beautiful spring you're having. Every March and April flowering tree flowers were zapped by our" 9-degree hard freeze. No flowers here for 2026.Your cherry blossoms are so pretty.
