We haven’t been able to plant any tulips or lilies in half of our front garden due to Tulip Fire, a disease that made the soil unusable for three years, plus we didn’t plant any new bulbs in the section that was OK last fall, so it was a pleasant surprise to see this tulip blooming yesterday. Not sure how it got there, but I’m not complaining since it’s probably the only one we’ll see this year.
