Backyard fall color

There hasn’t been much brilliant fall color on the Hill this year due to a lack of rain and abnormally warm weather until just recently. So I was surprised to see how nice the humble crape myrtle in our back yard looked the other morning.

I love how the smooth curves of that myrtle play with the straight lines and corners of the buildings in the background and the fence.

Yes, that's what everybody says about the fall colors on the east coast this year. The usual vibrant orange and flame red are rarely seen. This tree in your backyard is a gem ! Great framing and lighting ~VVVV~
