‘Best Friends Forever’

view map

This statue of President Donald Trump and sex-trafficker of underage girls Jeffrey Epstein was removed from the National Mall by the park service last week, allegedly due to non-compliance with a permit, but it reappeared again on Thursday, albeit a bit damaged from its removal. A plaque at the foot of the statue reads, “We celebrate the long-lasting bond between President Donald J. Trump and his ‘closest friend,’ Jeffrey Epstein.” It was created by an anonymous group of artists critical of the current administration who have installed several controversial displays in the same spot over the past year. There was such a huge crowd looking at it that I had to wait quite a while to get a clear shot of it.

A humorous. and beautifully detailed capture. A very eye catching image and example of freedom of expression. Based on the comments preceding my comment many viewers are enjoying your posting. I suspect orders will be given for its quick removal. Oh the times we live in. VV

I am just curious of what material it’s made of, hope it’s not easy to take it away.
Great artists who made it anyway! VVV

Wow, what a great photo you got of it. That’s so funny they can’t take it down this time because there is no staff due to the shutdown. He needs to go and fast. Hoping the military got a good look at how demented he really is. V

So much of what's 'allowed', left as a smokescreen for what's really going on...

I was hoping you'd get a photo of it when they put it back up after "some technicality" had it taken down. Perfect framing.

Weird that Trump was the only politician that was proved to be part of that scene on Eptein's Island hideaway.

I'm very glad you got a picture of this. Trump should leave it up. It is a lot more flattering to his looks than real life is. ~BV~

I’m glad you were able to get a shot of it before it is taken down again. They should put it on the sidewalk in front of the White House. V
