There are still some 2,200 National Guardsmen patrolling the streets of Washington, D.C., even though the city was declared “crime free.” They must have gotten bored walking round and round Lincoln Park, so now they’re going further afar. Tim caught these soldiers after they had just walked down our block, and I’ve seen them several times going past our house. A couple of them did stop to pet Queenie the other evening, but unfortunately Tim didn’t get a shot of it.
