Today was peak bloom for the famous cherry blossoms on the Tidal Basin, the second earliest time ever, because of a very warm winter. We didn’t go down there due to the masses of people trying to view the blossoms, even by just driving by (like gridlock). So we instead opted for the far less crowded US Capitol grounds, where I got some shots that I didn’t really like as the sun was in the wrong place, but when driving home we went by the back of the Capitol, and I got what I was looking for.
