This cormorant was in a different part of the lake than the ones in the previous picture. It was interesting because a family was walking by, and the parents were discussing what the birds out in the water were doing; the son said, “Drying their wings,” which the parents ignored. So they asked us what kind of birds they were and what they were doing, and we said cormorants drying their wings. The father told his son, “That’s the first time you’ve ever gotten anything right!”
