Happy to be in the park

This isn’t my picture, but I took Sahraa to the park yesterday evening and was shocked at the number of people not wearing any kind of protective face covering, probably 90 percent of all the people I saw in the park and on the way there. Those walking on the street certainly weren’t social distancing, and joggers – the worst of the lot – insist on running down the middle (not the side) of our narrow sidewalks without regard for anybody in their way. I really don’t get it – does nobody care about the huge human toll (and potential toll) from the pandemic we find ourselves in?

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

An iris not quite too far, posted earlier:

Amazing how this looks like life as usual without any thought of a pandemic. Sahraa does look happy to be out on a walk.

It's lovely to see Sahraa looking so happy, it's great that you can now go to the park Helen. Some people just don't get it, it's the same here, David and I seem to be the ones getting out of the way of others who continue to break the rules.

She seems to be looking in disbelief. I can’t believe all the people who think this is a hoax. V

Sahraa is social distancing even if no one else is. She does look happy to be back in the park.

She does have a happy look about her. Amazing how many people are so inconsiderate isn't it. V

Heartbreaking stupidity

Even your dog looks confused by the scene. I just don't get it and it is no wonder that while the curves have been flattened they are not heading down in most places. As more states begin to open up I fear that it might be 1918 all over again.

I see that you're not required to wear a mask outside of the house ~V~

The smartest one in the picture is the one in the foreground. And she has a very nice smile.

this shows the reality. although the trio here are trying to maintain some distance...just think, the death toll should rise to unimaginable numbers once the rash re-opening of businesses takes effect..

difficult to understand human behavior sometimes.V
