Our home from Hajer Garden

This was our home on the Diplomatic Quarter for three years, which we thought was small after our palatial residence in Budapest (assigned to us because Tim was deputy chief of mission there), but it really wasn’t small at all, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a powder room, a much larger kitchen than we have in our own home in DC, and ample entertaining space. It backed on a large park, but we didn’t have direct access to it unless we climbed the wall that surrounded the property (which also would have been ridiculous since all we had to do was walk up the street to get in).

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

It's funny how we perceive space sometimes. :) V

So cool to have this ancient looking park so close. Hopefully it won't be replaced with housing !

It doesn't look small at all! But it does look very appealing. Do you miss your time there? V
