'Yellow Ox'

“Yellow Ox,” the last Hung Yi sculpture we found, was located on the grounds of the Twin Oaks Estate, owned by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office and which used to be the residence of the Taiwanese ambassador to the US, when we still considered Taiwan an independent country.

Unfortunately, the grounds are closed on weekends, so all I could do was take a few pictures through a fence, between a lot of leaves and branches, and from quite a distance. We ran into a group of Taiwanese tourists while there, and my reaction was if they can’t get in, we don’t have a chance ;-).

This had to be greatly cropped since I couldn't get anywhere near the sculpture.
