Changing gears

An admittedly not sharp picture of Sahraa, who was in the midst of fleeing when she saw my cell phone, a constant problem when trying to photograph her. Yesterday she was blocking my way down the stairs, so I held up a small box – not even my iPhone or camera -- I was carrying, and she ran.

‘Spirit of Haida Gwaii, the Black Canoe,’ detail, posted earlier:

Even a less than perfectly captured image she is till a beautiful dog. This is still very expressive and that look on her face is priceless. What a great POV for this photograph. V

She really is a character! Anything vaguely resembling a camera or phone and she'll run! V

She seems very pensive.

Poor Sahraa..the ears are placed in a defensive position showing that she is not comfortable.
Nice shot, Helen !

Must be hard for her to get used to the new surroundings. Nice to see her from the front also.
