Old and older

I believe these buildings used to be part of the Navy Yard complex, some of which seems to have been relinquished for private development. The power plant (thanks to people for telling me what it was!) sits next to what appears to be a renovated and repurposed warehouse building. Immediately next to the plant is a huge construction site.

the chimneys suggest a power building. Very reminiscent of Battersea power station. More to come on this trip around Washington I hope
