Another example of new architecture in Washington. The graduated rows of windows are what caught my attention, but honestly, it doesn’t compare to buildings in the Gulf. I think I’ll soon have to return to my Saudi galleries anyway because I’m running out of pictures from the States, with almost no opportunity to do any photography these days. Hopefully I will when our car and household effects arrive from Riyadh and are unpacked and put away… somewhere and sometime.

Waiting for a look, posted earlier:

Nice comp and capture. It is a sad fact that there isn't a lot of modern architecture in the US the truly stands out. Not to say that there isn't any, but nothing like the concentration in some other cities of the world.

Cool shot - interesting how the windows on the right catch the reflection of the sky. Rather sterile architecture, tho' V

Love these repeating patterns, great image.

Yes, it's kind of a rectangular and compact design. Like David said,, can't compare to your SA buildings, what could! I'm sure once you get your car, you will get more fun stuff. V

I sense a bit of impatience Helen. It's great to compare architecture from other parts of the world.

You have a good eye to notice the patterns here! V

Everything so linear - not a curve to be seen! Excellent image though.

Certainly not terribly appealing, though your shot of this structure is excellent. V

Great symmetry in the image, even if not the most imaginative architecture, still leads to a great image. ~BV~

agreed...complimentary waves here, yet hardly progressive design compared to the adventurous architecture you showed from SA...
