One very large house...

This is a single house on the DQ, not far from where we live. Sahraa and I walk past here often, usually at night, and I had never focused on the fact that it’s one compound, I assume for an extended family.

It’s hard to take pictures with Sahraa in tow because she doesn’t want to stop walking or wait for me to take the shot. Too bad the beat up car was in the way, but there are always cars parked here, probably household staff. At least it hides the dumpster that I know is around there somewhere!

A rare display for Riyadh, posted earlier:

Interesting to see the old car in front of such a fancy looking place. V

Very uninviting and those satellite dishes, who knows what they are used for.

A satellite dish for each member of the extended family :) Looks a bit prison like :(
Hopefully Tim will be out walking soon !!

This reminds me of the Pueblo's of New Mexico. Great catch, I guess this would be a walk-by shooting since your partner would not stop. Great capture. V.

Amazingly large, and all those satellite dishes! Not an inviting looking place, perhaps Sahraa has her reasons for not stopping here! V

That place is huge. Look at all the satellite dishes! Is Tim still having trouble with his foot and that is why you are walking Sahraa? V

Nice pov!

Very interesting that they build long and low instead of up. Must watch a lot of TV!

Room for a whole tribe with global reach through those satellite dishes.

Good grief!! They have more satellite dishes than the local cable company!!!

It is massive and not very attractive. I can relate to your difficulties taking photos while dog walking.
