Irqah

In our drive around southern Riyadh, we found a district called Irqah, which was home to some old ruins and what seemed to be a large expatriate population from India. This appeared to be part of the ruins and not a private home, although I guess somebody could be living there anyway.

The walls seem to rise up organically from the land, not surprising given the material used to make them. Very evocative image. V
